Responsibilities of the Intern:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support HR operations by managing employee records and ensuring data accuracy.
- Help in onboarding new employees, including preparing necessary documentation and orientation materials.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits and leave management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Assist with performance management processes and employee relations.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
- Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
- Available for a minimum internship duration of 6 months.
- Basic knowledge of HR concepts is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong interest in Human Resources and People Management
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent Communication Skills are essential for interacting with candidates and employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required for various HR tasks.
- Strong Organization Skills and Time Management are crucial for managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Familiarity with Human Resource Management (HRM) principles and practices is expected.
- Effective Email Management and Document Formatting skills will be utilized daily.
