Human Resources Internship

Responsibilities of the Intern:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support HR operations by managing employee records and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Help in onboarding new employees, including preparing necessary documentation and orientation materials.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and leave management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Assist with performance management processes and employee relations.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
  • Available for a minimum internship duration of 6 months.
  • Basic knowledge of HR concepts is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong interest in Human Resources and People Management
  • Willingness to learn and take responsibility

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills are essential for interacting with candidates and employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required for various HR tasks.
  • Strong Organization Skills and Time Management are crucial for managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Management (HRM) principles and practices is expected.
  • Effective Email Management and Document Formatting skills will be utilized daily.
